Kentucky AG Sues Kalshi, Polymarket and VGW Over Unlicensed Gambling

Kentucky Attorney General Russell Coleman filed three separate lawsuits accusing prediction-market platforms Kalshi and Polymarket, plus sweepstakes-casino operator VGW, of running unlicensed gambling operations in the state. The suits argue the prediction markets let users bet on game outcomes and player stats without the consumer protections and tax compliance state gaming law requires, while VGW's sweepstakes-coin model is likened to traditional casino wagering. Coleman is seeking injunctions and damages against all three companies.
