Take-Two chairman and CEO Strauss Zelnick told Variety this month that Grand Theft Auto VI remains on track for its November 19, 2026 release, calling it the clearest signal yet that Rockstar is holding its current ship date. The reassurance follows two earlier delays that pushed the game from a 2025 target to May and then November 2026, with Zelnick framing the extra development time as protecting long-term franchise value rather than threatening it. Pre-orders for the Standard ($79.99) and Ultimate ($99.99) editions have been live since late June with an early-purchase bonus attached.
