100 Thieves beat NRG 3-1 in an all-Americas grand final on July 12, closing it out with a 14-12 overtime win on Ascent to finish the Esports World Cup 2026 undefeated across seven series. Matthew "Cryocells" Panganiban was named tournament MVP after a 65-kill, 25-assist performance in the finals alone, giving 100 Thieves North America's first-ever international VALORANT trophy and $600,000 of the $2 million prize pool. Runner-up NRG collected $340,000.
