Station Casinos Hit With Class-Action Suit Over March Cyberattack That Exposed Customer Data

A Clark County resident has filed a federal class-action lawsuit against Station Casinos, its holding companies and parent Red Rock Resorts over a March data breach that wasn't disclosed to regulators until late May. The suit claims the operator failed to maintain adequate cybersecurity safeguards despite well-known industry risks, exposing names, Social Security numbers, driver's license and passport numbers, and casino credit details. It seeks damages, a jury trial, and coverage of costs to notify and protect affected customers, who Station Casinos says are being offered free credit monitoring.
