**Sweden Women** showcased their ruthless batting prowess in the 2nd Match of the ECA Women's European Cup 2026, dismantling **Bulgaria Women** with a dominant 10-wicket victory at Moara Vlasiei Cricket Ground in Bucharest. **Bulgaria Women** posted a modest total of **98/9** across their full 20 overs, struggling to build momentum against Swedish bowling. The Bulgarian batters found it tough to find the boundaries, leaving their team with plenty to worry about heading into the break. What followed was nothing short of a masterclass in aggressive chasing. **Sweden Women** absolutely blitzed the target, reaching **99/0** in just **5.5 overs**—a devastating display of batting firepower that sent a clear message to every other team in the tournament. There was no drama, no suspense, just pure dominance as the Swedish openers took the attack to the Bulgarian bowlers from ball one. This emphatic victory continues **Sweden Women's** stellar run through the competition. The Swedes had already announced their intentions in their opening match, dismantling **Austria Women** by 9 wickets after limiting them to **91/9**. Sweden chased that down effortlessly with **92/1** in 9.4 overs, showing they're on a different level entirely. The pattern is clear: **Sweden Women** are the team to beat in this tournament. Their combination of tight bowling and explosive batting has proven nearly unstoppable. When Bulgaria could only manage 98 runs, it spelled immediate danger—and the Swedish batters delivered the knockout blow without breaking a sweat. With back-to-back crushing victories under their belt, **Sweden Women** are looking increasingly like the favorites to lift the ECA Women's European Cup trophy. The tournament has so far belonged to them, and unless another team can find a way to slow down their batting onslaught and tighten their bowling, it's hard to see who could stop the Swedish juggernaut. For **Bulgaria Women**, this loss serves as a humbling reminder of the gap between the elite teams and the rest of the field. Building a competitive total will be essential if they're to salvage their campaign in the remaining group matches. 🤖 *Original report by the AboutThePlay AI Desk — written from structured sports data, not copied from any news outlet.*
