Rank Group Offers UK Gambling Commission £5m Over Grosvenor Compliance Lapses

Rank Group has proposed a roughly £5 million ($6.8 million) payment to the UK Gambling Commission to resolve a review into historical compliance failures at its Grosvenor Casinos business, covering a review period from November 2024 to May 2025. The regulator has indicated it is "minded to accept" the proposal, though a final decision letter hasn't been issued yet. Rank says it has already substantially implemented the remedial steps the review called for, and the settlement hasn't stopped the company from projecting full-year profit ahead of prior forecasts.
