CS2 Premier Season 5 Brings Cache Back, Retires Overpass

Valve kicked off Counter-Strike 2's Premier Season 5 on July 6 with the biggest Active Duty map pool change of the year, adding Cache and pulling Overpass from competitive rotation while soft-resetting everyone's CS Rating. The update also reworked C4 detonations to show an advance estimate of blast damage and added new skin and sticker collections to the in-game Armory. The refreshed seven-map pool gets its first real pro-level test at BLAST Bounty on July 21, when teams' veto strategies adjust to Cache for the first time.
