PARIVISION defeated BetBoom Team 3-1 in Monday's grand final to claim the Dota 2 championship at the Esports World Cup in Paris, taking the lion's share of the event's $2 million prize pool. PARIVISION pulled away over the back half of the series, at one point building a 29-7 kill lead to close out the title. BetBoom had reached the final by eliminating Vici Gaming in the semifinals.
