US iGaming Revenue Surges 20.7% to $3B in Q1 2026 as Online Betting Outpaces Casinos

American online gambling platforms generated $3.04 billion in revenue during Q1 2026, a 20.7% year-on-year jump that continues to lap the growth rate of traditional brick-and-mortar casinos. Land-based commercial gaming was not left behind — 30 of 38 regulated states posted annual increases, pushing overall casino revenue to $12.48 billion for the quarter, a 2.1% gain. A new 2026 Casino Player Trends Report underscores the digital shift, finding that 74% of players now rate digital convenience as a top priority, yet 59% say the casino industry still trails other sectors in delivering it.
