Evolution Pays 4.75M Pounds to Settle UK Gambling Commission Licence Review

Swedish gaming supplier Evolution AB has agreed to pay the UK Gambling Commission 4.75 million pounds (about $6.4 million) to close a licence review the regulator opened in December 2024. Investigators found two unlicensed operators had supplied six websites with Evolution content to British customers in violation of Evolution's own supply terms; the company says it cut ties with both once it discovered the breach. The UKGC said it found no evidence of widespread unauthorized access to Evolution's games across the wider UK market and plans to publish fuller details of the compliance failures in due course.
