Nevada Regulators Clear Two Deceased Mob Figures From the State's "Black Book"

The Nevada Gaming Commission voted 5-0 to remove William Cammisano Jr. and Peter Ribaste from its List of Excluded Persons, the so-called Black Book that bars individuals from every casino in the state. Both men, tied to organized crime out of Kansas City and excluded in the late 1990s, had died years before the brief hearing, which wrapped in under ten minutes. It's largely administrative housekeeping, but a reminder of how much mob-era history is still sitting in Nevada's gaming records.
