Riot Games revealed Summit, a new 5v5 map set in a Radiant training academy inspired by China's Wulingyuan mountains, launching June 24 alongside Act 4 of the current season. Its signature twist is a set of droppable walls at both sites and mid that can be triggered mid-round to permanently seal off rotations and sightlines. Summit enters the competitive queue immediately, with Riot softening the transition through reduced rank-rating losses and a dedicated Summit-only queue for the first week.
