Claude Guillemot, one of the five brothers who founded Ubisoft in 1986, died at 69 in a small-plane crash near La Baule on France's Atlantic coast. While his brother Yves became the publisher's public-facing CEO, Claude spent his career running Guillemot Corporation, the family's hardware arm behind brands like Thrustmaster and Hercules. French aviation authorities are investigating the crash, which also killed the flight instructor aboard.
